You shouldn't have to sit through a sales pitch to learn what something costs.
So here it is, three tiers, published in full. Almost nobody in this industry does this. That should tell you something about the industry.
Three tiers. Pick by complexity, not by budget.
Every tier runs the full Built to Code cycle, Blueprint through Inspection. The difference is the complexity of what gets built.
| Tier | Who it fits | Year one | Ongoing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Base | High-earning professionals on W-2 income, retirement optimization, charitable strategy, equity compensation timing, Roth conversion sequencing. | $7,500 discovery $500, credited in full | $3,750/yr |
| Cornerstone | Business owners, entity structure, compensation design, retirement plan architecture, accountable plans, the full owner's toolkit. | $15,000 discovery $1,500, credited in full | $7,500/yr |
| Keystone | Multi-entity complexity, full quarterback role across your CPA, attorney, and advisor, with quarterly plan updates and priority access. | $35,000 discovery $3,500, credited in full | $17,500/yr |
Every engagement begins with Discovery, and Discovery is paid, credited in full toward your plan. That's deliberate. Paid time gets spent on your situation instead of on convincing you. Before that, we'll talk. A complimentary introductory call establishes fit, and Discovery follows if both sides want to proceed. If we're not the right fit, we'll tell you that too.
The ongoing fee is systems maintenance plus the annual inspection. Tax law changes, income changes, entities get added. A plan that isn't maintained quietly stops working, the renewal keeps the machinery running and re-verifies the whole structure every year.
What we build, and what we deliberately don't.
We don't prepare tax returns, sell investments, or practice law, so our advice is never bent toward a product. We coordinate with your existing CPA and attorney, or introduce you to vetted independents who don't pay us anything.
Strategies we commonly build
- Entity structure and compensation optimization
- Retirement plan design, 401(k), cash balance, defined benefit
- Roth conversion and distribution sequencing
- Charitable giving vehicles, DAFs, QCDs, appreciated stock
- Accountable plans and fringe benefit design
- Tax coordination with your estate attorney's plan
What we don't do
- Tax return preparation or filing
- Investment advice or portfolio management
- Legal advice or document drafting
- Commissions or referral fees, in either direction
- Anything the tax code doesn't clearly support
Getting started
- Discovery, paid by tier and credited in full toward your plan, is the first step of the engagement.
- Written proposal with your tier, scope, and what the build covers. No surprises later.
- The full build, Blueprint through Inspection, on a timeline you'll have in writing.
